All venues will need you to secure event insurance naming them as “Insured” on an insurance policy. Most entities require a $1 million policy. These policies can often be secured through homeowner’s insurance as an “additionally insured.” In the event you are not able to secure the policy through homeowner’s insurance, there are insurance companies that will insure just your event for the day.
